Back to Class for a Day

In the University鈥檚 tradition of open and intelligent dialogue, UIS is offering three 45-minute mini-classes followed by a 鈥渟tellar鈥� luncheon presentation. Each session will be led by a subject matter expert, with campus tour options to cap off the day.

Register for classes and tours you wish to participate in. The mini-classes and campus tours are free of charge. The registration fee for the luncheon presentation is $40/person (includes hot buffet lunch).

How did your UIS education prepare you for your career?

I graduated with a degree in Business Administration and took Advertising as an elective. It was one of my favorite classes, so I knew I wanted to work in that field somehow.

2024 Scholarship Luncheon

This luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate student achievements and ambition, while also celebrating the generosity of donors who make scholarships possible. This event puts donors and scholarship recipients at the same table, sharing hopes, dreams and ambitions.

Cubs vs Cardinals at Busch Stadium

闯辞颈苍听UIS alumni聽and friends at Busch Stadium in St. Louis as the聽Chicago Cubs听补苍诲听St. Louis Cardinals聽compete and renew the absolute best all-time rivalry in baseball. Tickets are $150/person and include indoor air-conditioned suite access, outdoor seating access, snacks, a ballpark themed buffet meal and bar service.

Women's Philanthropy Luncheon

National trends show that women are increasingly becoming the face of wealth, giving and legacy. Women tend to be more generous with their wealth and contribute more frequently. The desire to create a personal connection and meaningful relationships demonstrates a desire to give both time and financial resources. The annual Women's Philanthropy Luncheon is an opportunity for women philanthropists to connect and learn about opportunities to support the UIS community.

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield and the University of 缅北禁地 Foundation host an annual Celebration of Philanthropy event to celebrate individuals who make a difference through philanthropic support. Each year the William E. Winter Award for Outstanding Advocate Leadership is given to recognize individuals outside the university structure who play active roles in securing private support.
