The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to present 鈥淐harismatic Fauna,鈥 an exhibition by artist and curator Doug Stapleton. This exhibition will open on Tuesday, Jan. 18, and will run through Thursday, Feb. 10. A reception will be held on from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at the gallery. Masks are required in the gallery and at the reception.

Visual Arts majors study the arts in a context that emphasizes the acquisition of processes and technical skills in various studio disciplines as well as the understanding of historical context and philosophical concepts in art.
Studio Maker Spaces
The Visual Arts Programs has a lot of wonderful facilities for students enrolled in Visual Arts classes and Majors & Minors to use to complete their coursework and to fulfill the needs of artistic production. Our maker spaces are for making, learning, and exploring using high tech to no tech tools including 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, wide-format printers, and even sewing machines.

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Visual Arts Gallery annual silent auction and benefit will take place both online and on-site at the gallery this year. The silent auction and benefit, featuring original works of art donated by local and regional artists, will launch online on Nov. 15 and remain live through final bidding at 7 p.m. Dec. 2. The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield is pleased to present 鈥淟eaving Loves Company鈥 from renowned Arizona-based artist Angela Ellsworth. 鈥淟eaving Loves Company鈥 will open on Thursday, March 1, and run through Thursday, April 12, 2018. A reception for the exhibit will take place on Thursday, March 1, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Visual Arts Gallery.
