University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Professor of Mathematical Sciences and Philosophy Peter Boltuc is part of a team developing technologies for the next generation of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Rafael Lopez is one of our Math majors. He is a Learning Assistant in our math classes. He is the treasurer and co-founder of the Campus Child Advocates Student Organization at UIS. In addition, Rafael is also the co-founder of the Chapter of the Secular Student Alliance at UIS. Rafael is a recipient of the UIS Leadership Lived Program, a program that features UIS top performing students.

WHAT: The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield and Innovate Springfield will host Doug Hamilton, head of artificial intelligence (AI) research at Nasdaq and a UIS alum, for a keynote speech on 鈥淭he Current State of AI.鈥 His speech will be followed by a panel discussion on the topic with UIS and outside experts.
