The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield’s has received accreditation from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). This is the first time in the 32-year history of the program that it has received national accreditation.

The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield has announced 15 new faculty appointments. Three faculty members will teach in the College of Business and Management; three in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences; one in the College of Health, Science and Technology; and seven in the College of Public Affairs and Education.

Two University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield undergraduate students are working with Associate Professor of Environmental Studies Tih-Fen Ting to research factors affecting the winter survival of American kestrels, a type of bird that is experiencing population declines in North America.
