All attendee's will be entered into a drawing to win $30 Amazon Gift Cards! The more you help - the more entries you get.

What to Expect:

Light to moderate physical activity – you’ll be on your feet for most of your shift.
Lifting and moving canned goods/boxes – typically under 25 lbs. (heavier items can be team-lifted).
Sorting, organizing, and stacking food – think Tetris, but with soup cans.
Bending, reaching, and possibly some squatting – comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes are a must.
Breaks and snacks provided – we know sorting fuel is important!

Send Silence Packing (SSP) includes personal stories from individuals who have been personally touched by suicide. The stories on the backpacks are a powerful way to raise awareness. The all-day display inspires action for suicide prevention, connects participants with local and national mental health resources, and inspires action.

Campus clean-up to untie yellow ribbons from Veteran's Day. This project requires walking and is outside, so dress for the weather. Supplies and maps will be available at the Volunteer & Civic Engagement Center.
