The snowfall at the end of last week is a good reminder that winter is still with us. Thank you to our Facilities and Services employees, who we rely on in the worst conditions to clear roads, parking lots and sidewalks to help us safely work and learn. We鈥檙e only one month away from the first day of spring 鈥� not that I鈥檓 counting!

UIS Commencement is just shy of 100 days away, and our Commencement Committee has been hard at work planning this year鈥檚 ceremonies, slated for May 10 and 11.
This year鈥檚 ceremonies will take place on campus in the UIS Performing Arts Center. To accommodate as many guests as possible for our graduates, we will be holding three ceremonies, divided by college:

The theme this year is, 鈥淏HM 2024 Roots and Rhythm.鈥� The Diversity Center has worked very hard to put together events that showcase the importance of BHM and to provide us opportunities to learn and grow. I encourage you to check out all the events happening on campus.
