The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield Cyber League team named the 404 Society placed in the top two percent in The National Cyber League competition held remotely in April.

The annual cybersecurity competition hosted by Cyber Skyline enables students to prepare and test themselves against practical cybersecurity challenges they will likely face in the workforce, such as identifying hackers from forensic data, penetration testing and audit vulnerable websites and recovering ransomware attacks.

University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield students earned awards and were elected to leadership roles during the virtual Model Ãå±±½ûµØ Government (MIG) simulation held Feb. 26 & 27, 2021. The simulation, which normally takes place at the Ãå±±½ûµØ State Capitol, was held virtually this year due to COVID-19.

A total of 570 students were selected; 88 are students in the College of Business and Management, 50 are students in the College of Education and Human Services, 349 are enrolled in programs in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, 65 are enrolled in programs in the College of Public Affairs and Administration, and 18 are non-degree seeking or undecided.
