The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield has released the names of the 698 students who made the Dean鈥檚 List for Spring Semester 2024.
A total of 104 students in the College of Business and Management; 320 students in the College of Health, Science and Technology; 109 students in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences; 143 students in the College of Public Affairs and Education; and 22 non-degree seeking or undecided students made the list.
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance has launched a new job shadowing program for undergraduate students to help them learn from experts in the field.
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield鈥檚 Harry and Deborah Berman Sabbatical Award has been presented to Mohammed Mohi Uddin, associate professor of accounting, economics and finance in the College of Business and Management. He will receive $3,000 to support research during his sabbatical leave.

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield has announced 15 new faculty appointments. Three faculty members will teach in the College of Business and Management; three in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences; one in the College of Health, Science and Technology; and seven in the College of Public Affairs and Education.
University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Associate Professor of Management, Marketing and Operations Sudeep Sharma recently completed a research trip to Italy, where he shared his expertise in conflict management and negotiation with faculty and doctoral students at the University of Trento. This collaborative venture, which took place June 16-30, 2023, has opened up new avenues for research in the field of negotiation studies.
Forbes has named the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield鈥檚 (BBA) a top online program for 2023. According to Forbes, the UIS online BBA made the list because of its low average annual net price, high student retention rate and low student-to-faculty ratio.

Dear Colleagues鈥�
After much thought and consideration, the town hall scheduled for Wednesday morning to address the College of Business & Management climate study has been canceled. Our next steps will be to seek support from the University of 缅北禁地 System to determine another resource to assess the themes of concern in the college and develop an action plan.
