Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield senior outfielder Ty Hollandsworth has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Hollandsworth, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., batted .571 (4-for-7) in two games on Sunday, the first half of the Prairie Stars' series against Northwood. He posted a .625 on-base percentage and demonstrated impressive power with three home runs for a 1.857 slugging percentage. Hollandsworth drove in five runs, scoring four.
