Estelle Higdon chose the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield because coming from a smaller hometown, she wanted a college that was 鈥渘ot too big or small.鈥� On campus, she is president of the Needle Arts Club; co-director of Leadership for Life Service Program; marketing director for The Alchemist Review, the English Department鈥檚 literary journal; and a member of the Christian Student Fellowship. She says what she likes most about UIS is 鈥渢he great community of students and faculty.鈥� Following graduation from UIS, she plans to work in the marketing field.
