Gretchen Sitki is conducting research with Assistant Professor Tom Rothfus at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield. Their work focuses on floating treatment wetlands at Lake Springfield, testing the effectiveness of various plants in removing specific contaminants. Sitki is also a learning assistant for general chemistry. She chose UIS for its campus environment and proximity to home. After graduation, she plans to pursue a doctorate.
