Jocelyn Fluker finds fulfillment in collaborating with a diverse group of individuals at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield. Fluker is set to complete her master鈥檚 degree in human development counseling with a school counseling concentration this upcoming May. Currently, she serves as a graduate assistant at the Women鈥檚 Center. Fluker's choice of UIS was influenced not only by the counseling program but also by personal ties. "My mom graduated from here,鈥� she said. 鈥淲hen my mom started going to UIS, my twin and I were in middle school! We lived on campus, and my mom took us to campus events. So, when I was considering my master鈥檚 degree, UIS was first on my radar! It felt like home." Looking ahead to graduation, Fluker aspires to become a counselor in an elementary school.
