Good  morning!  I  hope  everyone  was  able  to  spend  time  with  family  and  friends  over  the  Labor  Day  weekend  as  we  all  celebrated  and  paid&nbsp;tribute  to  the  contributions  and  achievements  of  American  workers.  For  our  important  work  at  UIS,  we  are  now  into  our  fall  semester,  looking  forward  with  great  optimism  and  hope.

What  a  wonderful  weekend  of  making  memories  as  we  welcomed  back  to  campus  the  Class  of  2020.  Many  thanks  to  Joan  Sestak  and  James  Koeppe  for  creating  a  safe  and  special  commencement  experience  in  Sangamon  Auditorium,  and  it  was  so  nice  to  see  Chancellor  Emeritus  Susan  Koch. Dear  Colleagues  –&nbsp;&nbsp;



It  was  exciting  to  see  our  campus  buzzing  with  prospective  students  and  families  during  last  week’s  Open  House.  We’re  launching  into  the  final  eight  weeks  of  the  semester  with  the  start  of  Fall  Accelerated  Courses  today,  and  our  Admission  team  has  been  working  nonstop  to  recruit  now  that  it  is  college  application  season.
