UIS  has  re-established  a  SHIELD  saliva-based  COVID-19  testing  site  on  campus  available  to  active-status  students,  faculty  and  staff  this  semester.  The  site  opens  TODAY  in  a  new  location:  Classroom  28  in  the  WUIS  Building  (see  campus  map  for  location).  Please  note:  The  UIS  SHIELD  site  is  no  longer  providing  testing  to  members  of  the  public.

Although  the  calendar  says  that  summer  is  still  here  for  another  month,  the  2022-23  athletic  year  is  already  underway  as  our  UIS&nbsp;student-athletes  began  returning  to  campus  at  the  beginning  of  the  month.</div>

Our  August  COVID-19  briefing  is  at  11  a.m.  Friday,  Aug.  12.  We  will  provide  an  overview  of  Fall  2022  guidelines  related  to  COVID-19,  discuss  the  upcoming  reopening  of  our  SHIELD  testing  center,  and  answer  questions.  &nbsp;



Everyone  is  welcome  to  attend,  and  the  briefing  is  recorded  to  watch  at  a  later  date.</div>
