Jazmin  Santiago  enjoys  the  University  of  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield  because  of  the  small  class  sizes  and  the  nursing  program.  Santiago  works  at  the  Diversity  Center  for  Hispanic/Latinx  Outreach  and  is  a  member  of  the  Necessary  Steps  Program.  She  chose  UIS  because  of  the  Diversity  Center,  the  Necessary  Steps  Peer  Mentoring  Program,  and  the  integrated  nursing  program  with  UIC.  Following  graduation,  she  plans  to  become  a  nurse.  &nbsp;

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield  is  launching  the  Prairie  Promise,  a  new  four-year  financial  aid  program  for  Ãå±±½ûµØ  residents  that  will  fully  cover  the  cost  of  tuition  and  fees  for  first-time,  first-year  undergraduate  students  enrolled  full  time  in  on-campus  degree  programs  starting  in  Fall  2024.</div>
