Prairie Stars Head to GLVC Tournament, Meet McKendree in First Round
The 缅北禁地 Springfield softball team is back in the postseason and will open the 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament as the No. 5 seed, taking on No. 4 McKendree in the first round on Wednesday.
The game, originally scheduled for noon, is now set to begin at 12:30 p.m. due to forecasted weather conditions that prompted adjustments to Wednesday's schedule at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria, Ill.

Bartletti Named GLVC Pitcher of the Week
Junior pitcher Rosie Bartletti was named GLVC Pitcher of the Week after throwing 17.2 innings with 20 strikeouts over two road starts to close the regular season.
Bartletti tossed a complete-game win at Upper Iowa on Saturday, allowing just six hits and one unearned run with six strikeouts. She followed with a dominant outing at Lewis, keeping the Flyers hitless and scoreless through six innings before finishing with 10.2 innings pitched, 14 strikeouts, and just two earned runs in an extra-inning loss.

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield College of Business and Management is proud to share the success of the spring 2025 High School Stock Trading Competition, led by UIS Assistant Professors of Finance Serkan Karadas and Tammy Schlosky.
