The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield hosts academic summer camps each year to help area high school students explore career options, gain practical skills through hands-on learning and have an unforgettable summer experience. All of our camps are taught by our world-class faculty, and we are open to applications.
AVC-HR Candidate Open Forum Today at 2:15 P.M. in UHB 3080
The first finalist for the UIS Assistant Vice Chancellor for Human Resources will be interviewing on campus today, Nov. 18.
An open forum will take place from 2:15 to 3 p.m. in UHB 3080 for interested faculty and staff to attend and learn more about the candidate. A Zoom option is available, but in-person attendance is strongly encouraged. Participants on Zoom will be able to ask questions via the chat function only.
Dynamic Program Pages to Enhance User Experience and Streamline Content Management
The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield (UIS) is set to enhance its academic program pages with the launch of Dynamic Program Pages, a collaborative initiative by the Office of Web & Digital Strategy, Enrollment Management, and Marketing. Scheduled for full rollout between November 25 and December 20, 2024, this initiative aims to improve consistency, enhance the user experience, and provide prospective students with accurate and accessible information.

The postseason begins for the UIS volleyball team this week as it looks to make a strong push in the GLVC Tournament. Women's basketball has a split week, with an exhibition against Marquette and a regular-season matchup at Union. Meanwhile, men's basketball is off this week, preparing for next week's DoubleTree Thanksgiving Classic, hosted by Drury in Springfield, Mo.
