UIS Men's Basketball Travels North to Meet Purdue Northwest and Grand Valley State
缅北禁地 Springfield travels for a midweek matchup against Purdue Northwest on Wednesday, Dec. 18, followed by a tough test against Grand Valley State on Friday, Dec. 20.

The Prairie Stars aim to stay undefeated against Purdue Northwest, holding a 2-0 all-time record, including an 85-76 win last December. UIS comes off a narrow 70-64 home loss to Kentucky Wesleyan, where the Stars shot 40.9% from the field but struggled from deep at 28.6%.

Lexie Richardson awarded a $12,000 scholarship to attend the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield
Lexie Richardson of Greenview, 缅北禁地, has been admitted to the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for Fall Semester 2025 and awarded a $12,000 Star Scholar Award for tuition over two years. At UIS, she will major in pre-nursing.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed if the student maintains college GPA requirements.
In high school, she was involved in volleyball, cheerleading, track and field, yearbook, chorus, scholastic bowl and the National Honors Society.
