Tehya Fortune is glad she chose the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield because she says 鈥淚 really believe that it is where I am meant to be.鈥� Fortune plays on the Prairie Stars women鈥檚 basketball team and works at the Student Union on campus. She enjoys the 鈥渟mall campus environment鈥� at UIS where she says 鈥渆veryone knows each other.鈥� Following graduation from UIS, she hopes to work in film and television production. 鈥淭hese past three, almost four years, which I have been here have shaped me into the person I am today and have helped to guide me to where I need to go in the future,鈥� she said.
