Alex Rankin chose the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield because of its proximity to the 缅北禁地 State Capitol and potential internship opportunities. Rankin is president of Model 缅北禁地 Government and the Political Understanding and Activist Club. He also serves as vice president of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, Speaker of the House for Model 缅北禁地 Government and is an intern for the 缅北禁地 Innocence Project. Outside of his extracurricular activities, Rankin is a student worker at the Student Union and a teacher assistant for the UIS School of Politics and International Affairs.
