The Camerata is a scholarship-supported musical experience available to current and incoming students of any major. Interested applicants must complete a UIS Camerata Scholarship Application Form, which includes a cover letter, resume and video audition. The resume should include musical training and participation in music activities. Audition performances should include major and minor scales and two short pieces in contrasting styles (one slow and lyrical; one faster and more technical). Please direct any questions to the Music Program of the Department of Art, Music, and Theatre at music@uis.edu or (217) 206-6240.
Time Commitment for Camerata Musicians

The Music Camerata is a group of non-major music scholarship students who perform in a variety of musical combinations for campus events throughout the academic year.
