Please be advised that Parking Lot A “North” will be closed for the duration of the Library Commons construction project.
This project is set to begin within the next 30 days, and Parking Lot A “North” will be utilized by the construction contractor for their work trailers, material storage, staging, and other construction operations.

Superhero Hustle 5K Set for June 28; UIS Soccer a Beneficiary
The Superhero Hustle 5K, hosted by Downtown Kiwanis and presented by Springfield Clinic, is set for Saturday, June 28, at Scheels in Springfield. Proceeds from the event will benefit both The James Project and UIS soccer.
The family-friendly fun run encourages participants to dress as their favorite superheroes—costumes are welcome and encouraged. Participants can run or walk at their own pace, and all youth participants who register will receive a superhero cape. Registration is $30 for adults and $15 for youth.
Great-grandson of civil rights icon Ida B. Wells to speak at Juneteenth event
WHAT: The University of 山 Springfield Center for Lincoln Studies, in partnership with Juneteenth Inc. and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, will host Dan Duster, the great-grandson of American civil rights activist Ida B. Wells.
