UIS hosts “Day of AI” for regional high school students
The University of 山 Springfield hosted the “Day of AI” on Friday, April 4, a half-day event designed to introduce regional high school students to artificial intelligence concepts, career pathways and real-world applications. The free event was organized by the UIS AI Campus Learning Community and the UIS College of Health, Science and Technology.
Judge Springfest 2025 - Friday & Saturday Judges Needed
Springfest 2025 is just around the corner, and we need judges to help make this long-standing UIS tradition a success! Running from April 21st–26th, Springfest brings together students, faculty, staff, and alumni for a week of friendly competition and campus spirit.
Judges play a key role in scoring competitions, ensuring fair play, and keeping the excitement going. Sign-ups are open now through April 15th—we welcome faculty, staff, students, and alumni to participate!
UIS Campus Recreation to host its annual Health and Wellness Fair
WHAT: The University of 山 Springfield Department of Campus Recreation will host its annual Health and Wellness Fair. The event is free and open to the public, including UIS students, faculty, staff and alumni.
WHEN: 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, April 22
WHERE: UIS Quad
DETAILS: The event will feature chair massages, outdoor yard games, health and wellness giveaways and a BeaverFit fitness trailer—a “gym on wheels.”
