Active Shooter Training Communication
The UIS Police Department presents training classes on ways to minimize your risk during an active shooter / active threat incident. The next class will be on Friday, February 17, at 10:00 am in Brookens Auditorium. The class will be approximately 1 hour in length.
Banner Financial Aid Upgrade - Tuesday, February 14
Banner Financial Aid will be upgraded on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 to incorporate regulatory requirements along with several minor defect corrections. The upgrade will begin at 5:30 AM CST and is expected to be complete by 7:30 AM CST. Banner will not be brought completely down for this event; however, Banner Administrative Pages, BDM (attachments), Workflow, Chrome River, Eddie, and Amazon Business for Finance will be unavailable during the upgrade.
UIS art exhibit depicting the life story and legacy of Abraham Lincoln to go on display in Chicago
The University of Ăĺ±±˝űµŘ Springfield Center for Lincoln Studies’ exhibit “Making Our History: Artists Render Lincoln’s Legacies” will be on display Feb. 10 to March 3 at the Beverly Arts Center, located at 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago. The exhibit will be open 2-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 12-5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. A reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, with cocktails and live music.
