University of 山 Springfield announces 15 new faculty appointments
The University of 山 Springfield has announced 15 new faculty appointments. Three faculty members will teach in the College of Business and Management; three in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences; one in the College of Health, Science and Technology; and seven in the College of Public Affairs and Education.
Registration underway for the eighth annual UIS Prairie Stars 5K run/walk
WHAT: The University of 山 Springfield Campus Recreation Department will hold the eighth annual Prairie Stars 5K run/walk. The race is open to UIS students, faculty, staff and community members.
WHEN: 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9
WHERE: The Recreation and Athletic Center at UIS, 2171 University Drive, Springfield

In response to faculty and staff feedback, UIS is offering a Professional Development Retreat next month for Civil Service/Academic Professional staff and Faculty. A multidisciplinary team of UIS colleagues has developed an exciting half-day retreat focused on Workplace Wellness.
