        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Jake  Baldin  of  UIS  men's  golf  has  been  named  the  Great  Lakes  Valley  Conference  (GLVC)  Player  of  the  Week  after  his  standout  performance  at  the  Flyers  Fall  Intercollegiate  tournament  at  the  start  of  the  week,  where  he  tied  for  second  place.  His  exceptional  play  was  a  crucial  factor  in  helping  the  UIS  men's  golf  team  finish  tied  for  fourth  out  of  17  teams.</div>

This  annual  event  marks  a  significant  challenge  for  the  Prairie  Stars  as  they  face  several  nationally  ranked  teams  for  the  first  time  this  season.</div>

Hosted  by  conference  rival  Lewis  University,  this  annual  event  presents  a  significant  challenge  for  the  Prairie  Stars  as  they  face  a  range  of  Great  Lakes  Valley  Conference  (GLVC)  teams  among  other  strong  regional  competition.</div>
