Prairie Stars Fall to Tritons Despite Strong Start
The 缅北禁地 Springfield men's basketball team dropped a close contest to Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday night, falling 74-66 in the聽GLVC matchup. The Prairie Stars now stand at 10-10 overall and 5-7 in conference play, while UMSL improves to 10-9 overall and 8-4 in the GLVC.
John "Jack" Stege named the 2024 UIS Employee of the Year
Building Service Foreman John "Jack" Stege has been named the 2024 Employee of the Year at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield. He was honored during a reception on Jan. 30, 2025, in the UIS Student Union.
Before announcing the winner, UIS Chancellor Janet Gooch thanked the eleven Employees of the Month who were nominated for the award.
Stege, who was the April 2024 Employee of the Month, is very enthusiastic about doing a great job.
