When Tommie Redmond came to the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield, he thought the campus was 鈥渢oo small鈥� and there wouldn鈥檛 be anything to do. He soon discovered the abundance of leadership opportunities awaiting him at UIS. On campus, Redmond is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Black Male Initiative. He is also an orientation leader and a Necessary Steps Program mentor. Redmond interns in the programming unit at the 缅北禁地 Department of Transportation and is a social work intern and case evaluator at the 缅北禁地 Innocence Project where he reviews wrongful convictions. Following graduation from UIS, he would like to work for the FBI or in Student Affairs on a college campus.
