Teagan Ross chose the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for 鈥渢he small campus environment combined with the abundance of opportunities and programs.鈥� She is president of Kappa Delta Pi (the International Honors Society in Education), sweetheart for Delta Kappa Epsilon, a member of Psi Chi (the International Honors Society in Psychology), a board member for the Student Organization Funding Association (SOFA), a resident assistant in Lincoln Residence Hall and a member of the Capital Scholars Honors Program. 鈥淢y favorite part about UIS is all of the people I have met and opportunities I have gained,鈥� she said. 鈥淚 have so many memories and experiences I can treasure for the rest of my life and hold onto for my future career.鈥� Following graduation from UIS, she hopes to teach either second or third grade. In the future, she hopes to earn a master鈥檚 degree and doctorate in education.
