Madelyn Laughlin chose the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield because 鈥渋t was just the right size, not too big or small.鈥� 鈥淚 enjoy that UIS feels like a tight-knit community, much like my hometown,鈥� she said. On campus, Laughlin is president of Lambda Pi Eta (the Communication Honor Society) and is a fundraising coordinator for Alternative Spring Break. Following graduation, she plans to pursue a master鈥檚 degree in Human Development Counseling at UIS in order to become a family and marriage counselor.
