Future Plans: Earn a master鈥檚 degree in environmental science
Karmyn Flesch enjoys giving back to the environment and developing her skills at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield. Flesch is president of Students Allied for a Greener Environment (SAGE) and is a Green Fee Committee member. Flesch is currently in an 缅北禁地 Cooperative Work Study internship, working on urban microclimate research for Assistant Professor Kyle Blount. Flesch chose UIS because 鈥渋t is affordable and close to home, but I like it most because of all the opportunities available,鈥� she said. Following graduation, she plans to earn a master鈥檚 degree in environmental science and obtain a Graduate Public Service Internship Program (GPSI) position.
