Abigail Frohning chose the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for the Medical Laboratory Science Program and the 鈥渋mpressive鈥� placement rate after graduating. 鈥淭he small class sizes and inclusive campus life makes it so easy to feel right at home,鈥� she said. Frohning is vice president, co-treasurer and event coordinator of the Medical Laboratory Science Club at UIS and a member of the Capital Scholars Honors Program (CAP). She is currently employed by Memorial Medical Center and Lincoln Prairie Behavior Health as a phlebotomist. 鈥淭he thing I love the most about UIS are the friendships I have made through my programs, both MLS and CAP Honors,鈥� she said. Following graduation from UIS, she plans to pass her BOC exam for Medial Laboratory Science and work at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in the laboratory.
