The Sangamon Experience invites the public to attend the 鈥淩elive the True Mother Road: The Edwards Trace鈥� program by Anna Sielaff, a graduate student at the University of 缅北禁地 Urbana-Champaign. Come and listen to Anna recall her travels along the historic Edwards Trace. Advance registration is not required.
An outstanding study of Edwards Trace has been published by Luke Moore, David Brady and Tracy Garrison (2019) with the听Building on the research that has been done on the history of the Edwards Trace,听Anna will be retracing the trail听from June 15 to June 19, covering her travels on Instagram and Facebook. She will visit the towns the trace went through and some of the businesses, museums and sites, discovering historical facts about the places she visits 鈥� all to create a one-of-a-kind storymap听of the true mother road, the Edwards Trace.
