Join us for an open and reflective Discussion as part of the I Stand With Immigrants initiative. This event invites others to engage in a meaningful dialogue exploring immigrant backgrounds, experiences, and the narratives that shape public perception.
Through guided discussion and shared perspectives, we’ll examine how stories about immigration influence identity, belonging, and community and how we can stand in solidarity with those whose lives are impacted by these narratives.
This is a space for education, empathy, and empowerment. Whether you identify as an immigrant, a descendant of immigrants, or an ally seeking to learn and support, your voice is welcome and valued.
All UIS students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend.
Let’s learn from one another, challenge assumptions, and strengthen our community through understanding.
