Transfer student Mackenzi Matthews is heavily involved in the Student Government Association (SGA) at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield. She is the parliamentarian and is currently working to rewrite parts of the SGA constitution and bylaws as chair of the Constitution and Rules Committee. On campus, she is also head delegate for the Model 缅北禁地 Government Club, treasurer of the Green Fee Committee and works at the Student Union. Following graduation from UIS, she plans to earn a master鈥檚 degree and pursue a career in politics. She hopes to one day become a United States Senator.
