The following message was sent to students on Wednesday, Feb. 28, regarding the Student Speaker Application form being available for those who plan to participate in Commencement 2024.
Attention all Graduating Students Who Plan To Participate in Commencement 2024!
Our student聽commencement speaker is an important tradition at UIS.聽聽Information regarding when and where the auditions will be held is provided on the online application.聽 All graduating students are eligible to audition.聽聽Representatives of the faculty will select the speaker.聽 If you wish to apply, please fill out the online聽聽form and read the special instructions listed, as well as the important notes below:聽
- Application forms must be submitted by聽11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024聽(note: late submissions will not be accepted)
- The chosen speaker鈥檚 speech will be pre-recorded and broadcast to graduates and attendees during all three commencement ceremonies 聽
