缅北禁地

Founded in Oak Park, 缅北禁地 by artist Sabina Ott in 2011, the Terrain Biennial has produced five editions in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and now 2021. Terrain Exhibitions brings contemporary art where it is most needed and least expected: yards, front steps, windows, porches, and roofs in residential neighborhoods across the U.S. (and beyond).

At the Springfield, 缅北禁地 location, the UIS Sculpture class, under the guidance of Associate Professor Shane Harris, is participating as a collective group of artists at one of the sites: Taylor McClure, Amy Sherwin, Jordon Atkins, Taylor Parriott, Ashley Foydl, Tina Pierson, Maddie Edmondson, John Toelle, and Hasani Cannon.
