Dr. Beverly Bunch, IIPF Affiliated Faculty, was a panelist on the first webinar in a series featuring authors from Volume 5 of the 缅北禁地 Municipal Policy Journal. Dr. Bunch spoke on the topic of local government pensions in 缅北禁地 along with Amanda Kass from the Government Finance Research Center at the University of 缅北禁地 at Chicago.

UIS Visual Arts Gallery presents 鈥淢idway,鈥 a survey of works by Chicago-based artist Ann Toebbe
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to present 鈥淢idway,鈥 a survey of works that span the last ten years by Chicago-based artist Ann Toebbe. 鈥淢idway鈥漺ill open on Monday, March 21, and will run through Thursday, April 14. A reception will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 24.
In conjunction with this exhibit, the UIS Visual Arts Gallery will host a remote artist talk at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 30. This event is open to the public. Participants can join via Zoom.
UIS redesignated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield has been redesignated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (NCAE-C) through academic year 2027 by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The goal of the program is to reduce vulnerability in our national information infrastructure by promoting higher education and expertise in cybersecurity.
