缅北禁地 State University professor named director of UIS School of Education
An 缅北禁地 State University professor will be the director of the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield School of Education starting this summer.
UIS announced Tuesday that Beth Hatt, a professor of educational administration and foundations at 缅北禁地 State, would start as director on June 16. She has spent the past 10 years with the ISU College of Education and holds a doctorate in culture, curriculum and change from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
UIS raises awareness about sexual assault
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield is raising awareness for sexual assault awareness month.
Students placed hundreds of flags for the more than 400,000 people who become rape and sexual assault victims every year.
The goal is to raise awareness and show support for survivors on campus.

UIS changing COVID testing requirements
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield is making changes to its COVID-19 testing policy.
Starting April 11, employees, faculty, staff, and long-term guests who have not yet been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will only have to test once per week.
Previously, they had to get tested twice per week.
Testing is optional for those who are up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccine.
Changes are also being made to the hours of operation of the SHIELD saliva-based testing site.
