Abby Vaughn of St. Charles, Missouri, a senior at Incarnate Word Academy, has been admitted to the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $28,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, she will major in medical laboratory science and play on the women鈥檚 soccer team.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.

Makenna Miller of Omaha, Nebraska, a senior at Elkhorn South High School, has been admitted to the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $36,000 Capital Scholars Honors Program Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, she is an undecided major who plans to play on the women鈥檚 soccer team.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.Miller plays soccer at Elkhorn South High.
