Chancellor Janet L. Gooch shared her vision for the future of the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield during a Ceremony of Investiture on Wednesday, Feb. 8, in Sangamon Auditorium on the UIS campus.The Investiture was hosted by the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Board of Trustees and University of Ãå±±½ûµØ System President Timothy L. Killeen as a ceremonial acknowledgment of her appointment to the top UIS post.In her speech, Chancellor Gooch focused on six future goals for UIS:

The UIS Police Department presents training classes on ways to minimize your risk during an active shooter / active threat incident. The next class will be on Friday, February 17, at 10:00 am in Brookens Auditorium. The class will be approximately 1 hour in length.
