I  am  pleased  to  share  that  Dr.  Cecilia  Cornell  will  serve  as  interim  Vice  Chancellor  for  Academic  Affairs  and  Provost,  effective  immediately.  While  the  search  for  our  permanent  provost  proceeds  on  schedule,  Dr.  Cornell  will  provide  leadership  over  the  Academic  Affairs  division  until  our  selected  candidate  begins  their  appointment.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Jessie  Misico,  an  online  computer  science  major  at  the  University  of  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield,  has  been  selected  as  a  recipient  of  the  prestigious  Critical  Language  Scholarship  (CLS)  offered  by  the  U.S.  Department  of  State's  Bureau  of  Educational  and  Cultural  Affairs.  She  will  be  studying  Russian  in  Tbilisi,  Georgia  during  the  summer  of  2023.</div>
