Dear Students —
UIS Commencement is just shy of 100 days away, and our Commencement Committee has been hard at work planning this year’s ceremonies, slated for May 10 and 11.
This year’s ceremonies will take place on campus in the UIS Performing Arts Center. To accommodate as many guests as possible for our graduates, we will be holding three ceremonies, divided by college:

Good morning, UIS:
It’s February, which means it’s Black History Month! The theme this year is, “BHM 2024 Roots and Rhythm.” The Diversity Center has worked very hard to put together events that showcase the importance of BHM and to provide us opportunities to learn and grow. I encourage you to check out all the events happening on campus.

UIS to host six ECCE Speaker Series events
University of 山 Springfield will host six Engaged Citizenship Common Experience (ECCE) Speaker Series events during Spring Semester 2024. The series presents events that promote and adhere to the value of engaged citizenship, cultural awareness and respect for diversity.
