RTU Installation at WUIS and HRB - May 21

Please be aware that on Tuesday, May 21, new HVAC rooftop units will be installed on the WUIS building and the Human Resources Building (HRB).聽 There will be a crane onsite to lift the old units off the buildings as well as to place the new units.聽 The crane will be onsite at 7:00 a.m. and work will begin with the WUIS building.聽 The exact crane placement will depend upon the condition of the dryness of the ground.聽 Markers and barricades will be used to cordon off the area where the crane will be located.

Carlene Hindert named the UIS Employee of the Month for May 2024

Carlene Hindert has been named the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Employee of the Month for May 2024. She is a human resources associate in the Human Resources Department. Her supervisor, Melisa Hatch, said that Hindert is knowledgeable and resourceful.

A total of 1,625 students earned degrees from the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield at the conclusion of the spring semester on May 11, 2024, pending completion of university requirements. Hundreds of students take part in the 53rd annual UIS Commencement ceremony

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield held its 53rd annual Commencement ceremony in three parts on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Sangamon Auditorium. Out of the 1,625 UIS students who were eligible to graduate, 1,051 participated in the ceremony. UIS Chancellor Janet Gooch presided over her second commencement ceremony, welcoming thousands of guests. She congratulated the graduates on their success and starting a new chapter in their lives.
