        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield  student-athletes  have  set  a  new  benchmark  for  academic  achievement,  earning  a  department  GPA  of  3.59  for  the  Fall  2024  semester.  This  marks  the  highest  GPA  in  the  history  of  the  department,  surpassing  the  impressive  3.56  GPA  achieved  in  Spring  2024.</div>

UIS  Athletics  is  collecting  snack  items  for&nbsp;Compass  for  Kids,  a  not-for-profit  organization  that  is  transforming  the  Springfield  community.  Through  innovative  after-school  and  summer  programs,  Compass  for  Kids  provides  critical  resources  and  support  to  underserved  children  in  Springfield  Public  Schools  (District  186).</div>
