UIS Women鈥檚 Basketball Narrowly Falls to Southwest Baptist, 81-78
The 缅北禁地 Springfield women's basketball team came up just short in a thrilling game against Southwest Baptist, falling 81-78 in Bolivar, Mo., on Thursday night.聽The game was led by Kayla Rice, who dropped a career-high 28 points, with Niyah Udoiwod chipping in 21, nearing her personal best.
UIS Men鈥檚 Basketball Holds on for 68-67 Win Over Southwest Baptist
The always entertaining matchup between the 缅北禁地 Springfield and Southwest Baptist men's basketball teams ended in a 68-67 victory for UIS on Thursday night at SBU. Evan Altman and Max Kunnert shared scoring duties in the win, totaling 22 and 20 points, respectively. UIS improved to 8-8 overall and 3-5 in GLVC play, while SBU dropped to 6-8 overall and 3-5 in conference action.

Businesses and organizations are encouraged to register for the Career Connections Expo at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield. The Expo will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the Recreation and Athletic Center (TRAC) on the UIS campus.In addition to the Expo, registered employers are invited to participate in a pre-Expo networking event called the C2C (College to Career) Exchange, which will give them the opportunity to connect with faculty and staff before the Expo begins.
