Message from President Killeen: University of Ãå±±½ûµØ System announces salary program
Dear colleagues:
For the fiscal year that is about to begin we will have a 1% salary program across the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ System.
We deeply value the dedication and contributions of our faculty and staff. Now more than ever, you are the engine that drives the excellence that we promise and deliver to our students, their families and the people of our state. A 1% increase does not begin to fully reflect the immense impact of your work, but it does represent our acknowledgment of your efforts within the constraints of our current budget.
UIS Earns Program-Record 239 Academic All-GLVC Awards
The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced Tuesday that UIS student-athletes received 239 Academic All-GLVC honors for the 2024-25 academic year. To receive Academic All-GLVC recognition, student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or above for the school year. A total of 4,333 student-athletes across the conference were recognized, including 203 individuals from UIS. The 239 honors were awarded across all 15 UIS athletic programs and include recognition of 36 multi-sport athletes.
