UIS Baseball Takes Doubleheader at Upper Iowa
The UIS baseball team聽continued its series against Upper Iowa on Saturday in Fayette, Iowa, picking up a pair of wins in a doubleheader of seven-inning games. The Prairie Stars improved to 20-10 overall and 13-5 in GLVC play, solidifying their hold on second place in the conference standings. The series finale is scheduled for noon on Sunday.聽
Inniss Leads UIS Women鈥檚 Track at Jim Vargo Invitational
The 缅北禁地 Springfield women's track and field team competed at the Jim Vargo Invitational on Friday evening, with three runners earning top-10 finishes in the 5,000 meters, including Kaleigh Inniss. The remainder of the meet, including additional heats of the 1,500 and 5,000 meters on Saturday, was canceled due to forecasted inclement weather.
UIS Softball to Host Maryville and McKendree in GLVC Action
UIS softball is at home this week in GLVC play against Maryville and McKendree. Maryville visits on Sunday for a 12:00 p.m. doubleheader. The Prairie Stars' doubleheader against McKendree, originally scheduled for Saturday, will now be played on Monday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m.
