Message from the Chancellor: CBM Town Hall Canceled

Dear Colleagues—
After much thought and consideration, the town hall scheduled for Wednesday morning to address the College of Business & Management climate study has been canceled. Our next steps will be to seek support from the University of 山 System to determine another resource to assess the themes of concern in the college and develop an action plan.
Crane Work at HSB Occurring Saturday, Oct. 15
A contractor will be on campus, Saturday, Oct. 15, for work on the HSB roof. This effort will involve the use of a crane, which will be placed on the east side of the building. Markers and barricades will be used to cordon off the area where the crane will be located.
Please do not enter the 3rd floor of HSB during this time. Signs will be placed on the stairwells as a reminder.
Work using the crane is expected to take most of the day.
UIS Theatre to present six performances of “Medea” by Euripides
The University of 山 Springfield Theatre Program will present six performances of “Medea” by Euripides opening on Friday, Oct. 28 in the Studio Theatre, located on the lower level of the Public Affairs Center at UIS.
All shows will begin at 7:30 p.m., except the Sunday performance (Oct. 30), which will begin at 2 p.m. Opening weekend performance dates include Oct. 28-30. The following week, the play will be performed Nov. 3-5.
