UIS Campus Recreation to host its annual Health and Wellness Fair
WHAT: The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield Department of Campus Recreation will host its annual Health and Wellness Fair. The event is free and open to the public, including UIS students, faculty, staff and alumni.
WHEN: 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, April 22
WHERE: UIS Quad
DETAILS: The event will feature chair massages, outdoor yard games, health and wellness giveaways and a BeaverFit fitness trailer—a “gym on wheels.â€
Campus-Wide Wi-Fi Upgrade - Public Affairs Center, Foxglove, and Marigold
Thanks to campus and system-level financial support, ITS is in the process of implementing a campus-wide infrastructure refresh as part of our efforts to improve Wi-Fi performance. This is a multi-phase project with an expected projected completion date of August 2025.
During the week of April 7, we will be upgrading the Public Affairs Center, Foxglove, and Marigold.
During the transition for each building, laptops, tablets, and phones should automatically switch to the new Wi-Fi after a possible brief interruption in service.
